FAQ
Heaven Hug AI FAQ
What is the heaven hug trend?
+
The heaven hug trend is a short AI video in which someone runs up a glowing staircase through the clouds and embraces a loved one waiting at the top. People make heaven hug videos to remember parents, grandparents, friends and pets they miss, and share them on TikTok and Instagram.
How do I make a heaven hug video?
+
To make a heaven hug video, upload a photo of you and a photo of the person or pet you miss on this page, then hit Generate. MakeMeme makes the stairs, the clouds, the hug and the music, so there's no template to find and nothing to write.
Can I use an old photo for the heaven hug?
+
Yes. The heaven hug works with old photos, including a print you photograph with your phone, as long as the face is clear. The two photos don't have to be taken together, and the video shows you both as you are in your photos.
Can I make a heaven hug video with my pet?
+
Yes. For a heaven hug with a pet, upload a clear photo of your dog, cat or other animal as the one you miss. It keeps its own colours and markings and runs down the stairs into your arms.
Is a heaven reunion video the same as a heaven hug?
+
Yes. A heaven reunion video, a stairway to heaven hug and “hug your loved one in heaven” all describe this same trend: the staircase in the clouds and the embrace at the top.
Which photos work best for the heaven hug AI?
+
For the heaven hug AI, a clear full-body or waist-up photo of each person works best, one person per photo, with the face easy to see. Their clothes in the photo are the clothes they wear in the video.
How long is the heaven hug video?
+
The heaven hug video is 12 seconds, from the run up the stairs to the long embrace, vertical 9:16 with soft music on it.
What AI is used for heaven hug videos?
+
Heaven hug videos on MakeMeme use the AI video model that fits this trend best: it keeps both faces from your photos and follows the stairs, the arms and the hug, in vertical 9:16 at 480p, 720p or 1080p.
Is the heaven hug AI free?
+
No. AI video generation is expensive to run, so making the heaven hug video always costs money. On MakeMeme each video costs from 20 credits, paid from a credit pack, with no watermark. Most videos are ready in a few minutes, and we email you when yours is done.
What resolution is the Heaven Hug AI video, and how many credits does it cost?
+
For the Heaven Hug AI video you pick the resolution before you generate: 20 credits at 480p, 30 at 720p or 50 at 1080p. Every resolution gives the same 12-second vertical 9:16 video; higher resolutions are sharper.
The video is an AI-made picture of a reunion, made as a personal keepsake. Only upload your own photos and photos of people you have the right to remember in this way, or whose family agrees. MakeMeme isn't affiliated with the creators of the viral clips.
