About
We track AI video trendsso you can be in them first.
MakeMeme turns one photo into your own version of whatever AI video trend is taking off right now — from the AI zombie trend to Ramalama. Most AI video apps give you a library of hundreds of templates. We do the opposite: we only support trends people are actually posting this week, and we add each one as soon as we can after it breaks.
You can reach a real person at [email protected].
How we pick and research trends
- Spot it. We watch TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X, plus search interest, for formats where people are putting themselves into the same AI-generated scene.
- Confirm it's real. We only add a trend once we see it made independently by many creators, not just pushed by one account or one app.
- Document it. Each trend page explains what the format is, when and where it started, and what sound goes with it, based on the original posts and public coverage. Every page shows the date it was last updated.
- Keep it current. When a trend changes, such as a new variant or a new model that does it better, we update the page. When a trend dies, we say so instead of pretending it's still hot.
How we choose the AI model for each trend
No single AI model is best at everything. Walking shots, dance moves and emotional two-person scenes each favour different models. For every trend we test several models with the same photos, then pick the one that keeps your likeness most accurately and matches the original format most closely. Each trend page names the model it uses. Right now that includes:
- Seedance 2.5
- Wan 3.0
- Kling 3.0 Motion Control
- MiniMax H3 (motion recast)
- Nano Banana 2 → Veo 3.1
- Nano Banana 2 → Kling 2.5
If a better model comes out, we switch and note it on the page.
Consent and safety come first
- Adults only, and only photos of yourself or people who agreed.
- No public figures, no minors, nothing sexual. Automated checks block these before generation.
- We never use your photos to train AI.
- Photos and videos are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Anyone who finds a video of themselves made without consent can report it here.
